Some callers unable to make International calls to China

Outage Description: We have received multiple inquiries relating to end users not being able to make an International Call to China when the mobile plan has sufficient allowance to do so.

Other Information:
Some callers may be having issues when calling China. The most common cause of this problem is that the calls are being blocked at the called party end (China) rather than any network issue on the callers side.

Our network group have notified the Global team who are engaging the Chinese carrier. They have been asked to remove the unblocking so calls can proceed. This process does take time and is now with the receiving carrier to resolve.

As an alternative approach, you may wish to have the call recipient in China report the problem to their Telecommunication provider in China. This may not always be possible but can be a quicker and more targeted approach to resolving the issue.
